WHY

Everyone loves to talk a big game about killer apps and mass adoption for Ethereum, but few do the dirty work of talking to people early in the product development process. Come learn how to conduct proper user research and save yourself precious time and resources later.

WHAT

The workshop, facilitated by IDEO CoLab Ventures and other Ethereum Community designers, will focus on educating teams on user research methods.

Teams are encouraged and will be responsible for sourcing their own interview participants. However, to help make the process easier, we have a volunteer sign up form on this page. Volunteers will be paired with teams on a first come first serve basis. Access to the Volunteer list will be provided upon acceptance to the workshop.

The schedule of the event is as follows:

10am - 11:30am: UX Intro Chats
11:30am - 12:30pm: Debrief and Lunch
12:30pm - 2:00pm: Product Interviews
2:00pm - 4:00pm: Synthesis and Share

WHO

This workshop is designed for teams currently building a product on Ethereum. Since this workshop will involve interviewing users about your product, this workshop is intended for teams who have a hi-fidelity prototype, a beta product, or a live product in market.
